Description
The Apogee National Guard Base was set up about 10 years ago, since the increase in organized time inflicting damages using more powerful spirits. The base was built on what was, at the time, the outskirts of the city. As the city grew, it surrounded the base, walling it with residential and commercial buildings alike.
The addition of a physical, localized branch of the National Guard encouraged the transfer of authoritative power from the Apogee police force to the National Guard.
The facility has several large, open training areas set up for the guardsmen to practice combat, as well as a few summoning stations where the Guard experiments with combat with and against spirits.
Large hangars on the campus house armored vehicles, a few tanks, and a few planes. However as the city built up around the base, helicopter pads have been added, as helicopters have been easier to use in the urban environment.
